Decidual Cast Shedding & COVID-19

Women around the world are reporting irregular bleeding, alterations to menstrual cycles, pregnancy loss, and more. There are reports of infant girls and elderly women having vaginal bleeding. These events are occurring after exposure to a COVID-19 shot or exposure to someone who recently received a shot. The biological mechanisms of these events have yet to be researched.

A survey studied has been published on one particular symptom reported: decidual cast shedding. This is when a piece of the uterine lining sheds and passes out of the body. Prior to COVID-19 shots, this was extremely rare.
